The Rouse Flick Learning Tower is another exciting component of Living Classrooms Foundation's interdisciplinary educational resources. The Tower, which has become the signature structure at our East Harbor Campus, stands 75 feet high and is visible from all over the harbor. The Tower is equipped with special equipment such as a windmill power generator and solar electric panels which are operated on the ground level.

There is also a video camera (see button below) installed on the Tower that has remote control access from the ground level to provide students a prime vantage point from which to view the Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Federal Hill and on a clear day, the Chesapeake Bay.

The Tower provides synergistic programming for students of all ages and levels of learning. Students enrolled in Living Classrooms programs such as Fresh Start, Achievement, and the Frederick Douglass After School Program utilize the Tower programming as well as students from all over Baltimore City and Maryland.
