5:30pm- Rising Stars reception and awards celebration in the 3rd floor Founders Room

7:00pm-12:30am Maritime Magic

*Enjoy an awards celebration & reception honoring our Rising Stars, followed by Maritime Magic featuring great food and beverages catered by Baltimore's top restaurants, live music by Latin-Afro-funk-soul band Orgone, The Bridge, and the Drew Davidsen smooth jazz quintet, fabulous online auction, and a beautiful, casual-festive, waterfront ambiance!

Tickets purchased after September 16th can be picked up at will call. Please bring your receipt. Tickets are now $120 at the door. Please specify which honoree you are supporting when purchasing.

About the Rising Stars Program:

Living Classrooms Foundation's Rising Stars is a program aimed at engaging young professionals in philanthropy and raising awareness about the important work of Living Classrooms. Rising Stars 2011 Presented by Baltimore Business Journal is a select group of young professionals (under age 40), who are recognized for their outstanding achievements in their professional and personal lives, and who are honored at an awards ceremony held in conjunction with Maritime Magic* and in the media for their philanthropic efforts. Rising Stars participate in various networking opportunities throughout the year, and become ambassadors and supporters of Living Classrooms' education and job-training programs.

*Maritime Magic is an annual party that benefits Living Classrooms’ education programs. Over 2,500 guests enjoy fine food and beverages from over 50 of the area's top restaurants, live music, a fabulous silent auction, festive ambiance, and a beautiful waterfront setting. Past musical acts include performances by Los Lobos, Little Feat, The English Beat, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Clarence Clemons, The Bridge, and many more! This year's Maritime Magic and Rising Stars Awards Celebration will be held on September 23, 2011.
