Living Classrooms’ Shipboard Department does not just do daylong school trips. We are also experienced at multi-day, weekend and weeklong trips with schools, Scouts, youth groups and businesses.
Lady Maryland – If your group has 12 or fewer participants we can offer you a total live-aboard program. After spending your days learning and sailing you will help get the ship anchored for the night. Then, with your help to prepare, it’s dinnertime! Finally, it’s lights out, and time to tuck yourself into your bunk below (or on deck, under the stars).
Sigsbee – up to 32 people can participate in an extended program on Sigsbee, although we strongly encourage smaller groups for extended trips. You’ll spend the day sailing and spend your evening at a campground. Once the boat is docked the group will head to camp where they will help set up tents, cook and clean up meals. Nighttime activities often include but are not limited to campfires, night hikes and lots of fun!
To accommodate larger groups, we can also do joint programs with both Lady Maryland and Sigsbee!
